It is always interesting to discover how manipulating one miniscule aspect of an eye, or lip, has the tendency to change the person's entire expression. Likewise, it is always deeply satisfying to see the expression on a client's face when I present him or her with a portrait. It is my goal to ensure your satisfaction. Portraits make excellent gifts. A drawing of a loved one can be a sentimental tribute. While my location is fixed, the most I ever need in order to make a beautiful portrait is a scanned photograph, preferably no smaller than 5" x 7". Digital copies of photographs can travel across the country, as can a completed portrait drawing. I use high quality Strathmore 400 Series paper and always spray my completed drawings with fixative to prevent smudging. This way, your portrait can last a lifetime (and more).
